Happy Christmas to all our friends and family
22 December 2023
We had great fun on the last day of term in first class. We had a 'Wonka' inspired treat in the morning when we made Rice Krispie buns. We each spooned in our own mixture and added our toppings. It was yummy! After that we built a lego city in the classroom. We had so much fun. We want to wish all our friends and family a very Happy Christmas.
Art
21 December 2023
As always we have been excelling in out artistic capabilities this month!
We decorated the corridors with lots of Christmas-themed art. As well as this, we created dioramas on animal habitats. In English writing and Science we were learning how to write and research detailed reports about animals so this integrated very nicely with our theme.
Building bridges

As part of our STEAM (Science, technology, engineering, art and maths) learning, we have been designing and building bridges from lolipop sticks. We have had to plan our designs, work as a team and solve problems as they arise. Our bridges are nearly finished. Check back in in the new year to see the finished products!

We really enjoyed our annual Cinema trip. We went to see Wonka. As well as enjoying the movie and the popcorn, we made sure the 1st class got to and from the cinema safely.
